Photo Update

A friend from school let Lincoln borrow her kids' costume for Halloween. We think he's a pretty stinkin' cute pumpkin!

I couldn't pass up this pumpkin outfit at the Carter's store for only $5.99! Guess that's what happens when you go shopping the day after Halloween!

While we were in dressing Lincoln up for the holidays, we decided to put his Santa Baby outfit on too. I know, I know ... it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but we knew it'd be way too small for him at Christmas. (A friend gave it to us).

After eating a 6 oz. bottle, Lincoln still seems a little hungry. Here's his first attempt at "eating" rice cereal.

Last night Lincoln asked his daddy about the Christian faith, so Dan decided to pull out a book ...

What to do with a baby while folding laundry? Why, let him join in on the fun!

First Bites

videoLincoln's been getting hungrier and hungrier, so we decided to feed him some rice cereal. You can tell by his face that he's not too thrilled. But, he was a pretty good sport about it.

We'll see how it goes tomorrow...

Welcome Fall!

Enjoying the perfect fall day!

Names

The other day I was looking through my "Parents" magazine and found a fun article ...

... about baby names.

There was a list of "future winners" in 2019.

Both our boy name and our girl name were #3 on the list!

Looks like there's going to be more Lincolns running around.

I wonder if we'll still like Lucy when baby #2 is born?!?

Best Teacher Ever

Crystal found out some interesting news this Monday. She found out that she was nominated for Teacher First (a segment on channel 5 news that highlights 1 special teacher from Colorado Springs each month).

Here's the link, so you can see her article.

Her 3rd graders were excited, as well as her principal. And, she did such a great job, that she earned another special award from her husband (see picture below). Of course, he's a little biased...

The Forgotten Fassel

Sometimes we* get a little too caught up on how cute babies are, which is easy to do, so we* forgot to blog about Erik Paul Fassel--the person who made the Florida trip possible.

Without any further ado...
